I. Skill Development and Job Placement
Recognizing the critical link between employment and poverty reduction, WDAF offers market-driven vocational training in areas such as tailoring, electrical work, IT, and mobile servicing. Participants receive not only technical skills but also life skills and financial literacy training. The program facilitates job placement and entrepreneurship support to enhance income-generating potential.
II. Women’s Economic Empowerment
WDAF believes that empowering women economically leads to stronger families and communities. The organization runs specialized training programs for women in entrepreneurship, microenterprise development, and financial management. It also helps women access seed funding, microcredit, and business development services to promote self-sufficiency and social empowerment.
III. Handicraft and Income Generation Projects
WDAF supports traditional handicrafts and home-based enterprises by offering production training, raw materials, and marketing support—especially for rural and slum-dwelling women. The foundation also establishes linkages with local and national markets to ensure fair trade opportunities and sustainable livelihoods.
