Child Poverty in Bangladesh

Millions of children face multidimensional poverty, lacking income and essential services like education, healthcare, nutrition, and protection.

Around 40% of children in Bangladesh experience multidimensional poverty, facing deprivations in areas such as education, health, housing, and sanitation. Malnutrition remains a major concern, with 28% of children stunted and 9.8% suffering from wasting. Additionally, over 4 million children are engaged in child labour, many in hazardous conditions.
